DESIGNS

this is my think tank.

THE CRIB.

My interest in functional design began in the 6th grade, when I self-taught myself in photo manipulation and video creation. I found great satisfaction in using these newfound skills as a creative outlet. Because of my desire to create, I further developed my skill set by adding  web development, Illustrator, Python, JavaScript, and CAD modeling.

PHOTOSHOP. 2019.

My ambitious personality was the main inspiration for creating this piece. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed with the amount of commitments or thoughts in my mind, where I feel like I am on the brink of eruption. Exercising my imagination, I sought to illustrate my overloaded mind through this piece.

WELCOME TO MY MIND

RALPH BEHIND THE MASK

PHOTOSHOP. 2017.

this piece explores the concept of a social mask, or an alternate social presence that hides a person's true personality or intentions with the intent of personal gain. In this piece, I illustrated the social mask of Ralph, a lead character in Lord of the Flies, where he attempts to appeal as a leader in front of a group of boys. His mask comes off when the boys object to his leadership, where he resorts to violent measures in order to restore his position of power.

although I grew up in Los Angeles, I still felt like a New England kid at heart. I sought to create a piece that oversaw Boston's roots seep through into Los Angeles, an analogy that emphasizes how the city of Boston continues to remain important to me despite living in Los Angeles.

PROTOCOLMINER

YOUTUBE CHANNEL + GRAPHIC DESIGN. 2013-2018.

in 2013, I began my YouTube channel, recording gameplay videos and creating video game textures for redistribution. I gradually found success, amassing 10,000 subscribers in 2017. I have garnered over 1.5 million downloads on my projects and have accumulated 1.2 million views through the showcase of my designs. my fanbase has deteriorated unfortunately... but apparently 18% of my fanbase is from Russia

Wandering the Palm Springs Art Museum inspired me to experiment with typographic design, and I created this poster as a result. This poster design encaptures the word "salty" in two separate contexts: for a feeling of annoyance towards an agitating situation and for the taste. Designer Virgil Abloh's work also as a significant influence on this poster, as seen by the use of Helvetica.

WHERE I'M FROM

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR. 2017.

through my diverse backgrounds growing up, I sought to capture and display my New England roots. as I navigated my life, I went from attending preschool in a small town in the forest of New Hampshire to exploring the streets of Los Angeles as a teenager. This change in environment had a significant influence on my personality, but my New England roots remained intact.
